What is the fastest way for me to learn Spanish?

I run a leasing office for several apartment complexes. A majority of people are Hispanic and I would love to communicate with them.

Websters new Spanish English Dictionary is pretty good.
Getting to know the people is good. They are happy when
someone cares enough to learn there language. You have
to practice it just about every day. Remember this. If you
learn just one word a day for one year, you'll have learned
365 words. You are opening the door to a whole new world
that will surprise you as to how alike we are. I think most any
one of them would be more than happy to teach you.

take a spanish class and also buy some spanish books

I would love to speak spanish, im not sure about the fastest way of going about it though i have looked but havnt found nothing yet. Hope you do x

Move to Span or Mexico.

Take classes (the Rosetta Stone online classes are supposed to be pretty good, if you're short on time) and then immerse yourself in a Spanish-speaking environment. Listen to music in Spanish, watch TV in Spanish, talk with Hispanic people (preferably those who are good at English too so they can help you when you get stuck.) Dive in and you'll get it faster than you think.

Get a Hispanic boyfriend or girlfriend.

watch "dora the explorer" at nick... lol.... aaahhhhh ok ok.. buy spanish dictionary... spanish tutorial books that will help u learn the dialect... attend spanish classssss.. duh.... what else... hhmmm.. marry an espaniol... lol... that might help..

I think you already know a bit of spanish, so take a week trip to Mexico, it would be great if you do this with a Hispanic friend. Forget that you talk in english. That will force you to speak, hear, read, write and even think in spanish.
And in no more than a week you should be speaking and understanding a lot more than now.
If you can get some mexican Gossip magazines like "TV Notas" or "Teleguia" or watch this kind of TV shows, they will help you, because they use a very colloquial spanish language.

you must buy a book for learning vocabulary, please don't try to learn the verb conjugation drills by yourself... spanish is not an easy language for the verbs... you can start learning vocabulary with ilustrated books, it's great!

you must learn the other things in an ACADEMY or coming to spain in an EXCHANGE!

i know it because i'm spanish and lot of people tell me that they find it difficult, learning verbs, pronouns, etc... lts of verbs tenses and modes...

You can try to make contacts with speaking spanish people throught the Internet and taking clases at any Institute. You can try with Hi5 communuty for example, http://www.hi5.com and then, if you want, you could search in Costa Rica and then u can search for: blanco.tony@gmail.com and you can find me there.
