Is it possible for me to get rid of someone's mail mistakenly being sent to my address?

I have been getting this woman's mail for the year and a half that I have been living here. It has never been a really huge deal, mostly just junk mail so I just throw it out, but recently it's been medical insurance bills and important looking things. I have gone to my leasing office with her mail and they were no help saying they had never heard of her in their lives. I have tried finding her on the internet, yellow pages, nothing.

Is it possible for me to go to a post office and say "This woman DOES NOT live here"? I know that they usually ask for i.d. when you change your address, so would they even let me change the information for my address?

Put a note on the mail in the mail box that says "Not at this address" Postman should then take care of it.

Just put on the envelope does not live here, return to sender. Put back in the mail box.
