Please Adam D.--anyone I am looking for my son and precious Granddaughter? |
First of all, I took care of my Granddaughter, Indiana, for two years. Her father, my son, Jeffrey Scott Smith, lived in Moreno Valley, California. He took custody of Indiana in November 2006. I have his social security number and E-Mail address only. They no longer reside in Moreno Valley. I tried to drop some gifts and the leasing office told me that they moved away. I believe he is living in Nuevo California. I just want to see my granddaughter. To make a long story short--I am broken hearted to say the least. Please someone help me-- As a grandparent myself, I know and understand what you are saying. If you are trying to find them, there are several people search sites for as little as $19. with the information that you have you can locate him which was what I did. The problem will be though if he doesn't want you to visit or see her. If that happened and he is not willing to be understanding about you wanting to communicate with your grandchild then you might have to do as I and hire a lawyer in that area and take him to court under "Rights of a Grandparent". The rights are pretty much the same from state to state which basically say that we as grandparents have a right to see, visit, communicate, be kept up to date about them and even have our grandchildren visit us providing there isn't any legal or moral reason why that couldn't. I had to do that to my ex-daughter-in-law who got custody of my 2 grandchildren the tried repeatedly to keep me from seeing them. That was two years ago, since that time I have visited, communicated and even had them come visit for a couple months in the summer which they have loved. Good luck and wish you the best!
