I am a psychologist. How do I mask my conversations in my office so people outside cannot hear?

Is there a machine to do it? I do not have the ability to use sound proofing materials because I lease my office.

I had the same problem. Place a white noise machine just by your door, works like a charm :).

Take your clients to a empty room where no one is using , bring this up at a meeting that clients should have more privacy, If you have clients records , place them in a filing cabinet that has a lock.

insulate the walls with spray foam insulation

I am surprised as you a Dr you didn't know the answer. The white noise machine is your best bet.

There`s this stuff called decorative frabric sound aborbing foam to put on wall very use full my doctor has it as well. I aslo added a site so you may view items. Good luck hope you find what you are looking for. There are also ones that can be removed smaller pieces of foam.

two parter will fix it all.
1. place music or tv in waiting area.
2. put a fish tank with filter and such in waiting area. The running water will cover conversations and is a nice touch.

one of those machines that makes white noise/thunderstorn rain, water sounds any of those turned up do nicely..
