My eye doctor in Grapevine, Texas has closed his biz! How can I find out what happened to him & my files? |
All my family used to go to this Dr. Michael Shea in Grapevine (76051). His phone is disconnected and his office is for lease. I have not checked with his neighboring businesses yet. But is there any requirement by law as to what happens to the patient files? Apparently no one has bought his biz as they would have contacted the patients? Thanks! Well, I can't say for certain legally, but I believe that a doctor is required to notify you if he is retiring, moving or otherwise quitting his business and that he is required to return your files to you, advise you who is replacing him or to forward them to a new doctor of your choice. This is all that I could find in my mini-credit search: psm2000 Wow!Your Extra News here! |
