I am a tenant in Indps, my landlord is trying to change their policy n a mthly newsletter is this legal?

When I've asked where I can find the change or the policy in my lease agreemtn, they can not give me a straight answer. Then they simply provide me with a document which is obivously they just typed today, however they told me I received this when I moved in. But the policy took effect on Jan 1. 2007 and I moved in July 2005. So unless they have either a time machine in their office, there is no way possible I would have a document in 2005 that went into effect 2 yrs into the future?

did they inf you about change of policy early?
if yes, then legal, if no, then of coruse you can suit they
