How do you find out building requirement for a small business?

I am looking to open a coffee house in the small town I live in. I will be leasing a building that is currently a business office. We will be remodeling the building for the new business. Where do I go to find out how big the restroom needs to be? And if I need to have a wheelchair entry? Do I need a mens and a womens restroom? The building is under 1000sqft.

Talk to the county or city planning department - they will have all the details.

You need to go to the planning department at the city hall in whatever city you live in.
