Office Enterprise 2007 not working! Please help?

I have Office Enterprise 2007 installed on my Dell laptop running Windows Vista Home Premium. If I try to start Word, the following error message is shown, even though i have 2 gigs ram:

"There is not enough memory or disk space to run Word."

And the other applications (Excel, Powerpoint, Access etc) are not starting at all.

The problem is, I am not able to uninstall Office. I used the Control Panel to try and uninstall it, but the Setup says that 'uninstall was not complete'.

I even tried reinstalling Office. But the setup.exe file from my Office cd starts and closes at once. Windows shows the message: "Setup has stopped working: An error occured during the installation, and setup was unable to complete."

Bottomline: Office doesn't work, and I am not able to remove it from the system.

Please, can someone help me?

It's a major pain to follow, seriously, and I'm a geek.

Check to make sure the installation disc is not scratched when you reinstall after manually uninstalling.

is it an actuall office cd, or one burned from a site, the best thing i can tell go to regedit in run..where it says find, type in office, delete it and all its sub values, i did with other programs i had troulbe with..work fine..hope this helps..
