Out of body experience?

this happened last summer at the dentist office, it was the first time i had Novocaine, soon after he injected it into my gums I felt it starting to numb my mouth. Only about a minute later i couldn't move, all the music around me suddenly sounded like it was slowing down. my body felt like it was being sucked to the seat and everything around me was just flying past me (as if i was moving forward). when i could see again i saw my feet, but the bottoms of my feet, i followed them up to my body until i saw myself lying in the chair with my eyes open staring into space. i couldn't feel that i was inside a body, more like i was vapor. I watch the dentist work on my mouth, as he put a tube to a suction thing in my body's hand i could feel a sensation as if a hand was the only thing i could feel outside my body. all that i could see was distorted. i fnaly came back and i couldn't bereath right away but i was done. does this sound liek a dream or an out of body experience?

well also i've had Novocaine since then and nothing has happened. I know i'm not allergic and i don't think he overdosed me, because i've gone to this guy my whole life, he's never screwed really screwed up before.

Completely OBE I had an experience similar to this with the exception that it was in a different situation. For me I was alone sitting watching the bonfire burn under the full moon. Next thing I know I can see my own body sitting in the chair and I could freely move around, but moving I use loosely because of the way it felt. It felt more like I was a shadow or something. Its really hard to explain how its like. But obe doesn't necessarily happen when your dying or anything its just you coming out from your physical existence, momentarily.

Sounds like OBE....You astral projected.
That happens to me sometimes when sleeping. It happens to more people than they realize, they just think that they were dreaming.
You can do that with deep meditation too.

yeah that's freaky. i've had something similar happen to me at the dentist like that too. and from other things. *cough* one time i felt like i wasn't even me. trips me the f u ck out! but i could never actually like SEE myself and be outside of my body like that. but i know people who have had. i'd be scared i wouldn't find my way back.

I have no interest in reading beyond the question. If you have an out of body experience it is because the life that you are living is holding on. The soul exist and it is the energy without mass,.

What you have experienced was just the hallucinatory side effect of the drug. In plain sentence, a hallucination. Out of body experiences are only reported to take place in near-death situations, which was not in your case.
