Can I move program and user files for dragonspeak recognition software to external drive? |
I installed dragonspeak naturally speaking voice recognition software (edition 9, preferred) on my computer last year when I had wrist problems. I don't need it much anymore--maybe one a week or so. It takes up 1,360 mg (about 3x more than MS office) on my hard drive. I have an 80gb hard drive but only about 50gb of free space. It seems to work pretty slowly. I have an external drive with 200gb and is practically empty. Can I move the voice recognition software files to the hard drive? Would it speed up my computer? No you cannot move it to an external hdd. It will only work while on your main HDD (C:). From the external it will want to re-install to C:. |
