Sales executive job? |
I just got a job as a sales executive for event road show promoting credit card. Have been in the roadshow for almost a week and it was tough.You have to face to face with your customer and ask them to sign up credit card. Our roadshow normally located at shopping malls and Train station. Long hrs job and have to stand almost 5-6 hrs. We have target too. When you close a sales, you will get 28 dollars. They pay you only 800 dollars per month for the basic. No CPF contribution somemore. At the end of the month, have to deduct around 300 dollars from our money for the rental of space at the event show. The question is, is it worth to stay at this company? doing this kind of sales?...or i rather do other jobs and drafting job which i ever did? We have to report to office at 8 am and then got to roadshow events in afternoon and work toll 6 pm and then rotate shift from 1 pm till 10 pm. Weekend have to work alternate somemore.please give me advice? should i quit? Yes! Quit! Your purpose in life is not to get people in debt, Sounds like a very hard sales job. You would need to be very persuasive to make any money. If I were you, I would keep the job for now but continue to look for a new sales job. Be sure not to say anything bad about this job to a potential new employer either. It will not speak well for you. They will think you are just a complainer that doesn't want to work hard. I work as a Sales Executive as well and although I talk to people on the phone I know how tough it can be. Your job sounds bad though, the pay is obviously crap and you work on weekends. yeah dude thats kinda a scam job |
