Did you ever play a prank or a trick on someone else's computer?

What did you do?

Once we had a girl at our office who loved to goof off and see how much she could get away with not working. One day when she was out to lunch, I went into her computer and changed the screen saver. I activated the scrolling marquee sign and put in these words "April, get back to work, you are being monitored" I set it to come on after 5 minutes of it being inactive. Since she was the receptionist, I stayed near her chair until she came back from lunch, making sure the sign was not active by hitting the space bar every few minutes.

So she comes back and after a little while, I hear her voice clearly in the next room, "What the heck?" LOL I had to look and if you saw the expression on her face, you would have cracked up as it was too funny

We had a system at work called COSMOS.

I once produced a login screen that looked almost the same, but said CONDOMS instead, that sent me anyone who logged into it's password.

I also once changed a friends screen saver text to wingdings, and changed the text from "Sarnia ma Cherie", or something like that (it is the motto of Guernsey in the UK Channel Islands), to "Jersey Rules" (Jersey is another channel island, and one that people from Guernsey hate)

i sent emails to everyone on my ex boyfriends computer saying "im a ugly d***h*** come f**k me, i love miss roberts" (are head teacher)
was very childish.

1. Press Ctrl + Alt and then the up arrow (turns entire desk top upside down)

2. Place clear tape on the ball of the mouse

3. Take a screen shot of the persons desktop. Replace the wall paper with the screen shot and hide all the real icons stacked in the corner.

a) Ctrl + Print Screen
b) Open any image editing program and paste into (Ctrl + V)
c) save file

4) Open Word or persons work e-mail. Spell simple words incorrectly (Recieve / Receive) and tell spell checker to add the word. Will never correct the misspellings and the person looks like an idiot.

5) In the computers RegEdit file you can add URL's to the browsers drop down box. We put in Porn Sites and the guy flipped. He didn't ever go there and the server never saw it, but he though he was going to get busted for gay porn at work.

I did a fake virus on my friend he is extra paranoid so i produced pop up windows with custom messages saying Error- A Virus has been detected then every time he hits ok other messages pop up he was freaking out untill the messages seemed fake enogh then he freaked again after that shut down timer and yes the system actaully shuts down
