How can I have Microsoft Word/Office double space my essay for me?

I'm new to it and can't figure it out and I went and did it all my self line by line, but then my margins were messed up. Please Help!!! Thanks!!!

Also do you know how I can get the comment bubbles off the right margin the professor left me?

You will find the option you are looking for in the format menu under the paragraph option you will see a drop down menu for Line spacing. change this to double space. I think you will have to highlight the whole document before you do this however.

The comment bubbles are found under track changes I think. enable the track changes toolbar by right-clicking on an empty toolbar space and selecting the option from the list.

Edit. Select all.

I'm not sure how the teacher left comments. It may have been "track changes" - if so, you'll have to find the option to hide track changes.

Go to Format | Paragraph. In the spacing area, under Line Spacing, choose Double from the drop down box.

Select the whole document (Ctrl+A) and then go to the menu and select format, then select format, then select format paragraph, then go down to spacing and there is a box called line spacing and you will select "double".

Go to View and then select "markup" and this will remove the comment boxes

Go to Format, then to Paragraph. Find the tab that says spacing, then the inner tab that says line spacing. click on it, and open it to double spacing. That should make it spaced for you.

First, highlight the text you want to double space. Then right click on that text and click on paragraph. A window should appear, and on the lower right side you can select the spacing from a drop down menu of options. Just pick double spaced and you're all set.
