What can i do to tell the person that i share a office with that we need more space??

this is a person who if you tell them something and they don't like it they won't talk to you and i need them to talk to me b/c i need her help. i know a bunch of ways to fix the problem but don't know how to say it. I NEED MORE ROOM AND I NEED PRIVACEY

you should talk to your boss, not your officemate. will your neighbor really be able to help? and, if you're just gonna whine about it and not do anything to make space forcefully, take hints from Jim Halpert on The Office and do what he does to Dwight to your officemate.

just be up front he are she should under stand

make him the one that rhinks it it will be alot easier

do you mean physical space... as in shes using up your desk space? or like sort of mental privacy :S can you be more specific on what sort of space you need and how she is invading your "space"?

Say, I just wanted to thank you for all your help. I really appreciate you.

What do you think about the office?

Here are some things I like....

Do you think the space might need some approving?

Then, let it sit for a week or two then come back later for the kill/the real question.

Just the way you said it in your statement. Are you in business together?

well..try to give her a offce of her own!! or you can tell her that your not trying to be mean or anything..just that you need some space like she needs space.

Just blurt it out! WE need more space. If you include them, they will feel less attacked. Once you have it out there then you might find they also felt the same.

Just say, your Claustrophobia
