Which elevator? Schindler or Kone or Otis? My uncle has new office buildings built and rents out space.? |
As it looks Schindler has been the best of all the buildings? Should he stay with it or do any other brands offer something more energy efficient? They're hydraulic systems. mlk682 offers some good advice. When you evaluate this you look at a few things. The elevators that he is currently using and the availability of parts and service. I would for sure stick with one brand name as it makes it much easier later on. 20 years from now your not searching for spare parts for 80 different kinds of elevators. So whatever the decision I would keep that in mind. I have worked along side all three companys and I have a high regard for the persons at both Kone and Otis, but they are a local representation here. |
