Where can I find funds & volunteers to a cultural "Space Project"?

On a few occasions, spaceships leaving our Solar System have brought with them "Greetings from Earth" - sounds & pictures from our planet . The Cosmica Awards will build on their legacy, inviting citizens around the world to elect their own symbols to represent us in the cosmos. Once a year, the winning entries will be presented at a space-themed ceremony. See: http://cosmica.org

By doing this, we want to educate the public about our place and role in "the bigger scheme of things" - promoting space exploration indirectly by widening our horizons and creating a sense of "common destiny" for the future of Humankind.

The project already enjoys wide moral support by both astronauts, scientists, writers & artists, etc. But we also require practical aid - things like donation of office space, volunteer staff, marketing and general financial support. Anyone who knows how and where to find them? Somebody out there who want to make their mark in History and cooperate with us?

I could donate some thorazine.

I don't know about the funding, but you have one voluteer here if its based on reality.

Well, you're facing an uphill battle, since there are probably hundreds of such projects out there, including my own After Columbia Project. I can think of 28 off the top of my head. Most of them are specialized to one degree or another. MarsDrive Consortium, Mars Society, Mars-Oz, Orbiter Mars Direct, emphasize...uh...(scratching head)...oh, yeah, Mars. After Columbia Project primarily serves in mission design and analysis, in a nutshell: coming up with ideas and making sure they're good. We also check out the mission plans of others. Some are great, some belong in the bonfire.

I don't have anything personal against the "Greetings from Earth" idea myself, but after doing mission design for so long, it just seems so irrelevant and boring. I'm thinking if I were an alien and bumped into a Pioneer F/G probe, the plaque is probably the last thing I would look at in detail. It is unlikely that I wouldn't be able to figure out which star it came from, next up would be backtracking it as likely originating from Jupiter or Saturn (depending on whether it's 10 or 11.) I'd figure that was it's original destination, since the on-board equipment (the IPP, magnetometers, etc.) would suggest that it was designed for a planetary encounter. Launching such a probe on a one way mission to the middle of nowhere wouldn't be logical.

yep, I have the answer provid pick service to pick up fat from restrants set up contracts while its free and use cold fire for fuel

We at tasha9503.com are looking for people who are eager to collect and contribute the previously tried and tested technology to manufacture space crafts that can begin there duty as Hotels in Low Earth Orbit. As hotels they will begin creating a revenue.
