Project Help! Student Needing to "Make" an Office (Please Open)?

I have a project for math that involves making an office related to my career choice.

As I am in International Business and Marketing I chose to do a marketing firm, modeled after a real estate workplace.

My plan is this picture:

The picture isn't to scale or anything, but it's basically what it should look like. I can do the math and figure out the walls' area, etc, but I can't figure out what to make it out of.

It's a solo project, so I'd like some suggestions on how I can survive this multi-grade project.

In contrast to that, I may also show pictures of what the office would look like, rather than make a model.

I have three basic questions:

What is the average space for an office of the type I drew, and it there a webite where I can get more information?

What can be used to make the model? or

Is there a program that will allow me to draw out the office, and it will give me 3-D representations?

FYI, I am in the ninth grade.

I'm sorry, the image is here:

Am I correct in assuming this is going to be a diorama-type project?

You can make the walls out of bass wood, from the craft store, or out of cardboard. I recommend you use chipboard, which is the material cereal boxes are made from. You can get 'clean sheets' of it at craft stores like Michael's, Hobby Lobby, etc. Or you can use actual cereal boxes, just make sure to glue two pieces together, so the print sides don't show.

A regular office with a desk, return and guest chairs will take about 6'x8' space, all the spaces you list will be that big or bigger.

All the programs I can think of that would let you draw 3-d cost thousands of dollars, so I don't think you want to go that route.

You can check your local library for some space-planning tips, or go visit an office like you describe and ask them to let you walk around and measure it. Since you're 14-15, I'm sure they wouldn't be too suspicious.

Good luck! and don't forget the bathrooms.
