In Dreamweaver 8 how do you double space like in Word? My text looks jumbled every time I publish preview.?

Double spacing like most office programs.

You will have to use the html code for a space, because when you preview in your browser it will default to only 1 space even if you have 2,3,4,etc. spaces. It's how the webpage is compiled. To force a space you need to put the code that you find on the following link. Put the code that you find in the Entity Number column depending on which character you want. "Space is the first one".

you can put <pre> </pre> put spaces between this two tags...

The pre tags are a good idea but your page won't render correctly by the window size of the user.

Here's what I would recommend if you want ALL paragraphs in your page to be double space.

In your document, go to "Code" view. There, right before </head>, insert:

p {line-height: 200%}
</style>

Now, all your paragraphs are double spaced.
