Do I turn a bedroom back to an office?

My daughter returned home last November for 6 months. I had to turn my office/study into a bedroom. My job changed in April and I am now forced to work from home. She has gone abroad again for 6 months but is expecting her room to still be a bedroom. I need the space to work. I spent 6 weeks stuggling to work in my lounge, papers everywhere. My work invading my space. I would love my office again but will not be able to refuse to let her come back. What can I do when I live in a small two up two down?

How old is your daughter? Is she old enough to get her own place? Maybe get a roommate to help her pay for everything? You can't "be there for her" for her whole life...she has to grow up sometime.

Good Luck.

Set up your office !!! you feed and clothed her for how many years ??? ITs your time and your home Tell her to practice sleeping on your desk !!! Good Luck

Organize in your room, operate in hers.

Look for one of those beds made for kids where there is a top bunk with a desk underneath. Anything that involves getting the bed in the air will create more floor space.

I'd turn it back into your office. In the mean time look for a small affordable apt for her to live in when she comes home.

dunno, try a murphy bed...though they cant get quite pricey....they are nicely tucked away when you want that space.
