My wife lost MS office 2007 key?

My wife has just come back from the US and she bought a copy of Microsoft windows office 2007 there. To save space in her suitcase she decided to unpack it and she threw the box away just leaving the CD. Unfortunately, the CD key was on the box and my question to those in the know, is there any way of recovering the CD key from the CD or Microsoft? I have the receipt of purchase as to proof that she bought it, but I am at a loss what to do. Any help in this matter will be greatly appreciated !!
In addition, before anyone has any wise cracks about my wife, it was an easy mistake to make, as she had to pack very quickly before she left.

Seance you took it out of the UNITED STATES. I think your out of luck you'll have to purchase the software in the country where you are. And when she or you come back to the states with the recite they might can get the key for you. If you lose the receipt you can throw it in thr trash and try again

Since you bought it in the U.S. the contact number that comes up might only work in the U.S.

I can't guarantee this will get you anywhere. I do know that it is very easy for Microsoft to detect a non-valid product key without one Microsoft Office 2007 is practically useless. All help menus and templates run from the internet and it checks the validity before supplying you with the information you need. Don't get conned into using someone elses product key code. You will get caught.
