My home office is miserably warm...?

Living in Az towards the end of the day the sun beats down on my office, combine that with the space heater I call a pc and the fact that the room is the furthest from the ac unit and I am flat out boiling.

Suggestions?

buy a duct booster fan to push more cold air into your office...these are easily installed and will be wired to come on when your blower does...they come in round or square frames to match the ductwork coming to that room

You could try putting reflective film on the windows. I used to work in an office with windows that faced west, and when the company put film on those windows it made a big difference. If that doesn't reduce the heat enough, you could consider getting a window air conditioner for that room.

Try:

- A fan in your office.

- One of those tiny mini personal fans.

- Drink ice cold water during this hot time.

- Close the window shades to prevent sunlight from getting in.

- Wear cooler clothing.

- Spritz water on yourself.

- Get another air conditioner.

PS. I live in Arizona.

I would get a window AC.
Get some dark blinds and keep them shut.

try to damper down the vents closer to the unit to force more air to your office.

get a ceiling fan installed and add "black out" draperies to block the sun for entering. This is not the perfect solution, however it should help.

Well you could do all of those things that everyone has suggested or you could save money and think about moving your office to a different room of your house.

Isn't that possible? If I had to spend a lot of time in a particular room I would want to be comfortable.

ceiling fan and a dehumidifer
