Your desk in the office minimal or otherwise?

Looking around the office there are some work spaces that have nothing on them completly clear while other have personal items and photographs which do you have?

Interesting question!
Here's my list! (Except for obvious stuff - Phone / PC etc)
1 dirty coffee cup (I re-use one all day and not finished yet)
Salt / Pepper sachets (from 'working lunches')
1 box mints
1 car light bulb (been there for months - no memorable reason)

I have my/our wedding picture and a scan picture of our unborn baby - but only printed on office paper & stuck on the wall.

Funnily enough, everything else is paperwork (I'm an accountant) peppered with post-its and some pens / hilighters / stapler / hole-punch etc.

I just realised this is very boring, but it demonstrates that I actually do lots of work!

clear

i have pictures in the office, but not on my desk.

Clutter when it comes to personal items and I wouldn't have it any other way

Both..I have a clear desk and a photo desk too..cos I am a photographer

both....work stuff, and personal stuff

My desk is clear, except for strategically placed bits of paper which make it look like I'm working.

Not much, other than my work!

I do have a mini statue of liberty that my boss bought me back from New York, and a little metal model of my dog that my husband made for me on my computer and a picture of my husband riding a camel from when we went to Tunisia blue-tacked to the wall, but these are very small and take up little space.

I've got pics of my wedding, my nieces, pics of me in a duck suit, my Batman glass full of company pens, and the rest is work tickets and junk.

hrmmm... I'd say otherwise.
I have pics of my son, and some little trinkets that give my desk/office that 'homey-feeling'.
And, a bunch of pens, books, cert's of achievment and such...

I go with the minimal look, I have a bamboo plant on the corner of the desk for color, but other than that I treat my cubicle purely as a work place. Plus I really want my coworkers to know as little about my personal life as possible. My computer screen saver is a few pictures of me with my nieces and nephews, but thats it.

I believe in separation of work and personal life.

Lots of paperwork scattered everywhere. A right mess.

I have so many papers, files, in and out baskets etc. on my desk that there is barely enough room for the phone and computer and one pot plant. When I am at work I am so focused that I do not even think of my family, let alone need photos of them - I can see them at home. So I guess you could say I am a minimalist.
