Can I uninstall Microsoft Office?

I have Open Office and Mozilla Thunderbird as an alternate to Microsoft Office. I'm trying to increase hard disk space. It is save to do this?

Will the computer stop using this kind of software? I will keep Microsoft Works. Microsoft Office is pre-install and I need the pirduct id to use it so it not useful. I will uninstall this software and use Open Office and Mozilla Thunderbird.

You can remove Ms Office. But that wouldn't be the smart thing to do. Ms Office is the best try removing other programs that u don't need. Do a disk defragment and a disk cleanup.
Unless u own microsoft office u shouldn't remove it.
