What's wrong with my space bar!!!!!?

I have an Acer laptop that has recently come back from repairs. It had the fan replaced (I think) and a new c and d drive put in. I have installed MS office 2003 and every time i press the space bar key, it keeps opening up the "boxes" that usually open when you right click, for example, in Word, every time i press the space bar, the box with the "font, paragraph, hyperlink" options appears. What is wrong? Is it my laptop or my software? can someone offer any solutions! its driving me nuts! by the way, when i am typing, it adds the space and then opens up the little box. Im sorry if im not explaining this well, im not sure what those boxes that appear when you right click are called!!!

Take it back to where you got it repaired at and ask them, if they had to remove the keyboard, maybe they didnt get it plugged in right
