Question: Is it possible to run two versions of Microsoft Office on the same computer without conflict?

I have two versions of Microsoft Office, one version being Office Professional 2003, and the second, Office Home & Student 2007. Earlier this year I purchased Office Home & Student 2007 for my laptop (OS-Vista Home Prem.),however, this Fall,I enrolled in a Business Management course and was required to change my Office software to Office Pro. 2003 so that I could have access to the Access & Publisher features. This version was provided by the college in the tuition so I didn't bother to purchase the Office Pro. 2007 update
A couple of weeks ago I purchased a new desktop PC (OS-Vista Home Prem) that has provided me with plenty of hard drive space to run additional software, so I'm wondering if it would be possible for me to run both versions of the Office software, without creating conflict? I enjoy the features of Office 2003,but I enjoy the simplicity of Office 2007.
Well,if anyone can offer me some intelligent advice please feel free to do so. Thanks....

Yes, it is possible. There are actual solutions to this involving the registry, among other things. But I just can't bring myself to recommend it with a straight face. Because sooner or later, when it's time to upgrade your Office(s) to more stable and more enhanced Service Packs, you WILL have problems and you WILL regret it. And Microsoft Technical Support won't even help you because you deliberately messed up your software.

The safest and wisest solution is to just install Office 2007 and use its special (and recently updated) Compatibility App to convert your documents back and forth IF you ever need to. But use it sparingly. As with all format conversions, the translation is not always perfect, but still reasonably accurate. :)

yes ,of course!

there is no need that u run 2 versions at the same time
in ms office 2007 there are options such that u may store a file in any format as u want
so there does not have any problem so that the file u have done in office 2007 will not open in others
all that u have to do is to save it correctly

No it is not possible to install 2 versions of the MS office on the same OS.... you need to have different OS. Probable u can try with different login's or a dual boot OS.

I don't think that there must be running both Office version on a same system 'coz when you try to installed Office 2007 your computer will automatically ask you to upgrade the Office into Office 2007.
And your computer already have Office 2007 then your system will never allow to installed the lower version of Office. It will tell you that your computer already have the higher version of Office.

**If it is possible then please let me know... How?

Yes, you can have multiple versions of Office on one PC. I have 3 versions running. Install oldest version first, then newer version.

No Need For This Microsoft Office 2007 is Better than Any Privious Version Don't Need To Install Two Software
