Question: Is it possible to run two versions of Microsoft Office on the same computer without conflict? |
I have two versions of Microsoft Office, one version being Office Professional 2003, and the second, Office Home & Student 2007. Earlier this year I purchased Office Home & Student 2007 for my laptop (OS-Vista Home Prem.),however, this Fall,I enrolled in a Business Management course and was required to change my Office software to Office Pro. 2003 so that I could have access to the Access & Publisher features. This version was provided by the college in the tuition so I didn't bother to purchase the Office Pro. 2007 update Yes, it is possible. There are actual solutions to this involving the registry, among other things. But I just can't bring myself to recommend it with a straight face. Because sooner or later, when it's time to upgrade your Office(s) to more stable and more enhanced Service Packs, you WILL have problems and you WILL regret it. And Microsoft Technical Support won't even help you because you deliberately messed up your software. yes ,of course! there is no need that u run 2 versions at the same time No it is not possible to install 2 versions of the MS office on the same OS.... you need to have different OS. Probable u can try with different login's or a dual boot OS. I don't think that there must be running both Office version on a same system 'coz when you try to installed Office 2007 your computer will automatically ask you to upgrade the Office into Office 2007. Yes, you can have multiple versions of Office on one PC. I have 3 versions running. Install oldest version first, then newer version. No Need For This Microsoft Office 2007 is Better than Any Privious Version Don't Need To Install Two Software |
