Do people use dishwashers in an office environment?

Our office (approx 15 people) has been looking into getting a dishwasher. One side of the debate is that most people won't produce enough dishes to run the dishwasher regularly. The other side says people are more likely to leave their dishes in the sink without a dishwasher. Is it worth the expense ($1000+ to buy and modify existing space to fit the dishwasher) to buy a dishwasher?

Yes you should. Our office of approximately 30 uses ours daily. Coffee cups go in at night and we run it either last thing at night or first thing in the morning. Sterilizing personal coffee cups should cut down on illnesses within the office, leading to increased productivity and eventually a listing on the Fortune 500!

Yes!

Every office I worked at had a dishwasher.

we are a staff of 35 and we use ours everyday. we have a schedule of 9 teams with 4 people on each team per week.
Each team takes one week at a time and empties it and cleans the kitchen. we are all pretty good about it and someone from the team empties it everyday. You guys would probably only need to start and empty it every other day or something during that week. It would be easy to do.

sure why not... as long as you weren't paying for it
