Gossip in hushed voices in office? |
I'm from India. I'm not against gossip in office that is done loudly and cheerfully. But I hate it when sometimes guys talk in low voice and sitting so close to each other on the work desk, generally looking "Intimate". Whenever I see that my mind shouts "Gay!". Well I know they aren't gay but it sucks to see that. It would be good if they sat spaced apart, spoke in a louder voice and not seeming like they are family members. maybe they are talking about -you-. sitting that close to one another... they usually end up.... Every country apparently does that. I don't let it bother me anymore. People are people and they have to rip others apart to make themselves feel better. All that is just called unprofessional ism, and rude! They are friends. That is OK in USA. Different culture. I've noticed Indian men are alot more relaxed with their feminine side. I'd be more interested in why you are reacting to them. |
