Office Word HELP !!!?

I need help.

Out of no-were this thing has come up on Microsoft Office Word 2003.

Its at the end of my text, Its like a Backwards P,
and also theres also hovering dots instead of spaces !?

Does any1 know how to get rid of this ?

Cheers!

It's a formatting mark. Click on the format button in the toolbar area and it should disappear.

Youve clicked the non printing characters button - look for a button that looks like the back to front P and click it

You have to click the button which is the 'backwards P' next to the 'Zoom 100%' button on the standard toolbar.

this is a paragraph mark..
try removing the show paragraph mark in the pull down menu in paragraph section

Go to Format>Reveal Formatting (or hit Shift+F1), then at the bottom, uncheck the box 'Show all formatting marks'.

That is a formatting mark. It marks where you have pushed the enter key. It will not print. Look at the top of the application window. You will see a button with the backwards P. Push it and you will hide the formatting marks, and it will disappear from the text.

Its a paragraph marker !

Its possible to switch them on and off in many ways but there is probably an identical looking symbol on the toolbar - click it once and they should go.

Otherwise click "tools" (on the menu), then "options" and in the view tab untick the box against "field codes" !

The backwards P is an icon usually on your toolbar, its something that is used if you needed to know how many spaces you have left in between each word or if you were starting a new parpgraph for example if you were a typist.

To remove this if it is shown on your toolbar just click on it or alternatively it may not be shown so go to view - toolbars - standard and it will add it to your toolbar then click on to remove.

Hope this helps

Its a formatting mark mate, there is a button in your toolbar where it has the backwards P and you just click that and it will disappear, nothing to worry about!
