Yahoo, Who hates work while pregnant?!!?

Almost 26 weeks pregnant, and I can't stand work anymore! Tell me some things that drive you pregnant ladies at work nuts! For me, my boss is just like the boss from Office Space, Lumbergh! He carries his coffee mug everywhere and after every time he takes a sip makes this insanely irritating sucking sound through his teeth. It's about to drive me over the edge. He also really loves to hear himself talk...so we suffer through his very long monotoned repeated lectures everyday. He walks around the office jingling his keys in his hands a lot, why? hahaha What are some of your funny things/ irritating things at work that seem exaggerated in pregnancy?

It used to slide off of my shoulders before, but the things are now mind-numbingly annoying! hahaha

i hate work....my manager smokes like a freight train and doesn't seem to care that i'm pregnant. don't get me wrong, before i found out i was pg i smoked but i had respect for other ppl. i wouldn't smoke in my car if someone was with me that didn't, i wouldn't smoke around pg ppl, i didn't smoke around sick ppl or anything like that. that's just rude in my opinion. she will walk in my office & be puffing away. she even had the nerve to ask me to go to the store and buy her a pack. now how does that look? i'm almost 32 weeks & i can't wait til i'm not working anymore. my boyfriend wants me to go out now on maternity since we don't have paid maternity leave. (dang, she just came in my office now smoking) i'm really thinking next week will be my last week.

I'm 26 weeks, too and I hate work while pregnant! I get along with my boss & coworkers very well and they generally don't annoy me. Well, the one guy can act pretty goofy and tells crazy exaggerated stories, and that sometimes gets on my nerves. My problem is that I just want to eat and sleep. I don't want to work (obviously because I'm on Yahoo answers while at work). I just want to go home and veg out. And I'll only get 4-6 weeks off because I don't get paid maternity leave, so looking forward to that drives me crazy, too!

I liked it because it made my pregnacy go by alot faster, I could not imagine just sitting around waiting for that day to come!

co worker here likes to suck on her tooth & burp everyttime.

its really disturbing & disgusting.

not to mention ms. know it all!

Well I can say my boss is very supportive, I do shipping and receiving which requires a lot of heavy lifting and climbing ladders I work w/ almost all guys!!! So yeah I鈥檓 about ready to throw in the towel!!!! Yesterday was one of the worst days ever in my two years here, I can鈥檛 ask any of the guys for any help w/ lifting or climbing the ladders all I get is 鈥渋t鈥檚 not my job, what are you too lazy to do it?鈥?BS my boss has even had discussions w/ all of them telling them he has assigned me a desk job and I am not to lift anything over 10 lbs and absolutely no climbing!!! But being that he鈥檚 in meetings all day long it鈥檚 hard for me to get anything done w/ the as*holes I work w/. I hate having to depend on a man for anything I was raised to do things on my own and being pregnant well I don鈥檛 have a choice when it comes to some things. All I want to know is what ever happened to manners and Guys opening doors and offering to help when they seen lady鈥檚 struggling w/ something! I miss that southern hospitality!!!

When I was pregnant and working, my boss had the worst coffee breath and I always ended up throwing up after talking with him. I actually had to hold my breath when he was talking with me because his breath made me literally sick. Another thing that I had hard time at work was that I was always so tired and sitting at the computer all day was boring. I think I actually fell asleep a couple times.

hahaha that's funny. I worked at a restaurant as a hostess and this one time my manager decided to call a meeting with the buss boys. Well, we were on a 15-20 min wait out on the patio and there was NO one to clean the tables and I had people yelling at me to get the tables clean because they wanted to sit down. (that's what impatient jerks do) I ended up having to take my 6 month pregnant behind out to the patio with a buss bin and clean the dirty tables. So there I was carrying around some 60 pound bin and my manager and the jerks just looked at me. I hope they all BURN. haha.

i didn't mind working through my first pregnancy except the fact there was 2 of us that did the same thing. my co-worker would disappear, so when they needed anything it was up to me to do it. which wouldn't have been to bad except the building wasn't central air, just window units and were everyone was on the first floor and my office was on the second one. so would have to leave the cooler office to walk down the stairs to find out what they needed then would end up having to go back up stairs to get something just to go back down again. so all day long was going up and down stairs. summer testing started did i get the schools the had central air nooooooo, so that was uncomfortable as well, plus was working really hard to get all the students i needed to test before i had kiddo.

I work as a secretary and one of things that I have found the most annoying is when people call and it takes them forever to ask a simple question and then have to go on and on about one thing or another. I want to scream into the phone that I am pregnant, hormonal, feel like crap and really don't give a rats *** about their problem of the day. My boss isn't bad at all it is just all the other people I get to deal with all day long. Oh but for sounds my boyfriend coughs all the time and makes that disgusting sound in the back of his throat like he is going to cough something up it makes me gag until I almost lose everything that I halfway managed to keep down that day.
Don't you love being pregnant

I am so easily distracted at work anymore (which is why I am always on Yahoo! Answers) and it's really hard for me to stay focused on the task at hand.

I day dream about decorating the nursery, what I'm going to eat for lunch (lol), etc. I also feel the baby moving around so much and it really is a distraction here at my desk! I'm just trying to make it through the last 2 months without going insane!

I can't stand it! It's pretty slow, the work I do and I just got promoted to this position when I got pregnant (and didn't know it yet!) I hate it! I wish I could go somewhere else but i'm 23 weeks pregnant and that's pretty much impossible now! I just cant wait to go on mat leave! I live in canada so I can have 15 weeks before birth and 37 weeks after birth off so I can't WAIT to go! :D

I had people tattling on me because my shirt and pants "weren't meeting" around my waist, so I was showing skin. 40+ year old women with children of their own complaining that my shirt would come up above my pants when I bent down to get ice out of the icemaker or one of my drinks out of the fridge. I'd always known these women to be "female dogs", and I suppose I was wrong for thinking they'd be sympathetic or something. After my boss talked to me about it, every time I'd see either of them in the hallway, they'd scan me as I walked by with their eyes, still smiling and saying "hi" to me.

As a protest to it all, I finally just started wearing a button-up flannel cardigan, that I would button up whenever I left my office. My baby was born in July, and I live in Texas so imagine the looks they gave me after that. That way, if anyone complained about seeing any of my skin, it was because I wasn't wearing a ski mask or gloves to cover up my face and hands.

My baby is now 7 weeks old; I came back to work this past Tuesday. Typing that out now, just thinking about how angry it made me, angers me again!
