How many of you hate the term......? |
"Is it Friday yet?" What other stupid office quotes can you come up with? Like in the movie 'Office Space'...."Someone is having a case of the Mondays". Working hard or hardly working? I hate that one. I don't hate it....I don't hear it enough to hate it. I think someone is having a case of the Mondays. I don't hate the term - don't hear it enuf. Other office quotes: Happy Hump Day.......please! it's stapling time! I don't hate it. In fact, why isn't it 5pm yet? I've got 50 minutes and it's taking forever!!! actually that's the first & only time i have heard that. cant you get over hump day? "Is it me or does time move slower today." Have you seen my stapler? i don't wanna wait i just wanna bang on the drum all day Happy Hump Day! (Wednesdays) errrrg..... "workin hard, or hardly workin?" "are you busy right now?" "you have plans this weekend?" I always hated the term :another day, another dollar" "or same s$%t different day" hump-day. LOL!! I hate both of those.. how about.."did you have a good weekend" that drives me nutts and it's usually the person with the most money and probably spent it on their boat and jet while the rest of us went to the local neighbouthood park...arrrgghhhh "can we get this done in a timely manner"..urrrrgh.... "Let's put our heads together..." "I think you should bring that up at the staff meeting..." Anytime you hear either of those, you know a) you're in for someone's advice who has no clue what is going on or b) your staff meeting just got tripled in length as someone complains about a difficulty with another department. Bummer. LMAO I work with a guy that says that everyday at least twice! I think he assumes he's being clever. I hate when I ask how someone is doing and they say "i'm here". No kidding, I am talking to you. Whatever happened to saying fine when you know someone is just asking out of politeness! What's your sign? Oh sorry, got confused there for a second. I hate when they wet my shoes while drinking water in my office and they say "upsy daisy" you can always tell it's Monday it's so long/ it's hump day/ TGIF/ "Please contact me at your earliest convenience" This is in all e mails from the office manager and what he really means is don't bother me.... 1. "24-7" "make sure you file that one correctly" aka the shredder On Mondays i always feel, like Robbinson Crusoe. I'm always looking for FRIDAY..... Wednesday is hump day and the only things that hump are horney dogs. Why aren't Wednesday's taller on the calanders? If Wednesday has a hump, why isn't the day longer and I can sleep in? I want to be able to hump something on Wednesdays. not really a quote, but i hate sign all the birthday cards that come around. i don't even know half of these people, but if you sign it someone will ask you. when you say you didn't, they always look down and nod in that disapproving nod. so i just sign them all, happy birthday and good luck. i am not sure what i mean by good luck, but seems like a nice thing to say. I have to say the "hump day" sayin. So annoying |
