Countrywide Employment Problem !!!?

I am looking to go over to work with Countrywide in the Account Executive Position. I know they do extensive background checks. My boss's have all been jerks. I worked at a Property Management Company and he gave me a hard time when I was having a miscarriage so I terminated my employment. I was told by the new boss that hired me and they stated he gave me a bad reference. The other mortgage company I worked for I closed loans for them and they didnt fully pay me! I terminated my employment. The company I went to afterwards were EVICTED from their office space. Yes, the sherrif came!I know they may all give me bad references and I am not sure if that will affect me getting the job. I really want this I have just been with the wrong companies and I want to find a place I can stick to. Is there anything to worry about?Am I not going to get the Job, I did explain all of this to them at the interview?!Also, I am $1,900 in debt will that affect me getting the job? Please answer me.Thank You

I have plenty of other people as references but, the boss at the property management company is just not a great person and he did not want me to ever leave that job. I still live at the property and everytime someone who had my job leaves (and there were a lot of people) he always wants me to come back and work for hima and I say no! I just think he just wanted me to work there and that's it and every opportunity he has he tries to hook me again as if I don't remember how it was to work for him!

Having $1900 in debt will not keep you from getting a job.
Not paying debts that you have will keep you from getting a job if the employers runs a credit report.
Bad references will keep you from getting a job.

Considering the financial problems at Countrywide that have recently been in the news, I am not sure if going to work for them is the best way to avoid jobs that do not last.

why would everyone be giving you bad references for no reason? Companies are really only allowed to verify you worked there, maybe your job duties and pay rate. You can sue companies for bad reviews if they are unwarranted. Countrywide is not a good company to be going to right now - they're in a lot of financial trouble due to the subprime mess. I think I just read they are laying off people

The industry that you're in is certainly in termoil. I would think that any hiring manager would take into account the circumstances of the industry when looking at your career history. I try not to worry about bad references too much. It doesn't look like you were fired, but left on your own. Focus on your skills and what you can do for the company, but i would definitely try to convince your prospective new boss that you won't quit on them !
The $1900 debt will not be a problem. It's not that large of an amount. If you have a REALLY bad credit score, it might be a bit of a problem.

Sounds like you had a string of bad luck... and even tho CountryWide just got a round of funding from BOA are you really sure you want to go to work for a struggling company??? If I were you --- I lwould ook elsewhere.
