How many times at work tomorrow will you hear, "So, did you have a nice weekend?"? |
I get it about 15 times, which would be OK, if they really cared! A movie like "office Space' should have worked something like that in their script. Ah man, all those dweebs are gonna be wantin' to know what I did on my vacation...and I'm just gonna want to be left alone while I try to get back into the swing of things and correct the carnage they created while I was gone. I can't wait! Thanks for remindin' me Shaz! Probably not at all. I don't even want to go to work tomorrow. Haha..Well, not me. I'm off tomorrow. But yeah.. I know what you mean! I hate small talk! That's one thing I don't miss about going outside the house to work. Zero. I watch kids for a living; they don't care how my weekend was. They just want to play! None more than likely,it's too loud at work to talk to anyone!!! i hear more of..."so how was your BREEEAAAAK?" right after spring or winter break. which makes perfect sense to me :)) Kerri, Pam, Nanette, Amy, Laura, Yvonne, Chris....So at least 7 when i get the variation on that "So how was your weekend"?..my reply is ...."over" i am off tommorow so 0 times :) Gawd. When I was working, that was the worst part of Monday's. There was also a lot of Monday QuarterBacking. zero haha all the time! usually just for conversation fillers I only hear it maybe once About a dozen times. Hee hee, yeah, same here. By about the tenth time I just give them the look of death. Don't chit-chat with me on a Monday! 1 million times. And when something goes wrong, "Oh well, you can tell it's Monday!" Chuckle, chuckle. Good times. I went out on disability, so I don't work anymore.....lol! I feel for you! Usually only once. well i go too work here in one hour...and it will be about one time... ONCE!, and I gurantee it! well they did work in the "bad case of the mondays" I think I will hear it about five times. Not even once... I'm retired. |

Have loud imaginary conversations with people about intensely personal topics and see what ot... A princess party! Get stuff to do pedicures (cheap at the dollar store), get him a tiara, etc. ...Well there is a first time for everthing! You need to speak up for yourself!! Tell her your personal life is none of her buisness and you would appreciate it if she kept her opinions to herself!!! ... |
