Im looking for a partner in the tattooing world....?

Hi, I am a 38 year old male from central mn and I am interested in finally opening a studio somewhere local and making tattooing my permenant position. I am looking for either a silent partner or a partner who shares the same aspirations and dreams of tattooing as I do. It is my world. I have been doing it over 10 years now and I do have 75% of the equiptment needed to open a shop. Some things are still needed. A silent partner would just need to help with the rental and opening costs and then they would profit off of the monthly income. The shops around here average $2000 a month depending on how much work they put in. I would also be interested in having a regular partner who would share in the costs and share in the profits. Having an apprentice would be very nice also. There is plenty of office space available around here and plently of reasonable housing as well. So please contact me if you are interested or know someone who would be. Lets open the next MIAMI INK..................

Not to be OVERLY mean, but...

Your 360 profile doesn't match the info here.

Which are you 38/male or 25/female? And what is your job; tat artist or sandwich artist? Figure out who you are and get back to us.

Stop lying, stop making stuff up. Fake people suck

First I think you have some gender issues to work out...... Next while I might consider backing a couple of GOOD tattoo artists with established portfolios..... I wouldn't go looking for them HERE...

EDIT....
"you're so right blair"....rider says (as he removes his boot from where it is lodged firmly in his mouth)......"and I'm sure BroKe will be along soon to jump on the bandwagon."

I've answered your questions about HOW TO tattoo before. http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;... Somehow that doesnt make me overly confident in your skill, let alone your ability to run a shop.

Besides the lying faking part.... you want the money up front right???? Why can't the bank help you with a loan? Oh thats right youre opening a fake shop and scamming money from morons on y! answers....... I hope some dumb sap doesnt actually fall for this.

HAHAHA has anyone noticed the REPOST after this with "Its my husband....." LOL SURE

And on a rather poignant MI note: so ur opening the next shop that is full of artists being filmed who dont even work there and own their own shops elsewhere. Great Business Plan.

From a business standpoint: I don't think that it would be very wise to ask tons of random people if they want to go into business with you...esp considering they don't know you, you don't know them...also...you're "making tattooing your main job"? So does that mean that you were a scratcher before? If the shops there only pull in $2000/month, that means that you will only be making $24K/year? Also...is this a 2K/month profit that you're referring to or 2K/month as your total income not including expenses, taxes, licenses?

I would probably look into individuals that are in your physical area rather than the net...not sure if that many people would want to do a transaction with an individual that they know nothing about and someone who may not even be in the same area as you. If it were my money being invested in a business, I would want to be able to keep constant tabs around all aspects of the business

holy guacamole!!! good responses!!!

If my shop only made me 2K a month, I would have to hang it up.

Get into a legit shop as an artist if anyone will take you - if your work is good enough to open your own place, it should be good enough to work out of someone's shop.....unlearn all your bad habits and get legit.

Check on local licensing....Take some business courses....do up a business plan. Just the build outs on a place to get it up to code is a fortune!! IF you are very, very lucky....it might work out for you in about 5 years or so and don't call us, as the saying goes.

Hey Rider. I have to disagree with you. Can you believe it? There is actually 2 tattoo artist from this forum I would go see, and 2 piercers. Three of these people have answered this question. Just waiting for the fourth one to chime in.
