How to ask for baseball tickets???

A guy that my company used to rent office space from would mention in passing that he had season tickets to the Baltimore Orioles. Last year he offered me tickets to a couple games, but I was unable to go. Now the A's are coming into town and I would really like to see that game...would it be wrong to see if he had a few tickets that he would be willing to "part with"? Or should I just go get my own?

I am in charge of my companies tickets. People who ask me direct I thank. Those that beat around the bush, I just wish they would come out and ask already. And we have both Cub and Sox tickets, so we have a lot of games.
Seeing it is Oakland, I would not imagine it is a game in high demand. Just ask directly.

Ask him, what would it hurt?? if not go buy your own.

Ask him if he has some tickets for the game you want to go to. It is possible that he does not want to give them away, but maybe he will sell them to you a lot cheaper than if you were going to go out and get them from the Orioles organization.

i would ask him whats his plans for the tickets that he has alot of owner but there unused tickets on stub ticket it wouldnt hurt to ask
and sometimes ball parks will sell seats on gameday that players dont use but with this its means sometimes you miss a inning or two because they have to wait for unused to from the clubhouse that players dont use i know one year i got ray durhams seats at a giants game the envelop had his name on it --he hit the game winning hr in the bottom of the ninth
