Problem with my microsoft office word?

For some reason space instead of putting a blank space in between it will just delete whats after it
example:
Normal Spacing
Not ormal pacing

I don't know if that explains it well at all but thats what its doing
can anyone help me fix this?

For some reason SPACING instead of putting a blank space in between it will just delete whats after it (less confusing)

It may be that you accidently hit the "INSERT" button.
Just try hitting it again.
It may turn off the deleting feature,
and go back to INSERTING what character you want.

press the insert key on your keyboard and try again.

press INSERT in your Keyboard
try typing again..
