A couple questions about MS Office 2004 Word?

1. How and where do I change the default to Double Space? Every time I start a new doc it's single space.
2. On single spaced docs, how do I change them to be double spaced? I have to go line by line and hit return to make it double spaced.

OK try this and you will surely have your problem solved but it will cost you some points ;)

Select the text that you want to change, or click Select All on the Edit menu.
On the Formatting toolbar (toolbar: A bar with buttons and options that you use to carry out commands. To display a toolbar, press ALT and then SHIFT+F10.), point to Line Spacing .
If the Formatting toolbar is not visible, on the View menu, point to Toolbars, and then click Formatting.

Click the arrow next to Line Spacing , and then click 2.0.

I dunno how to make defult double space, but as for single spaced docs, highlight it all, then go to paragraph and double space it

Assuming your using Microsoft Word 2003 (there isn't a 2004)

Issue 1
Click the Styles and Formatting Button or under the Format toolbar. Go to your "Normal" default setting.
Right Click It and Select Modify
Then Click the Format Button On the Bottom Left
Select Paragraph
Select Double Line Spacing
Click OK
Check Automatically Update
Click OK

Issue 2
Ctrl+A
Right Click Text
Select Paragraph
Select Double Line Spacing
Click Ok
