Why is waiting for your girlfriend to call such a hard thing to do?

My girlfriend is currently assessing her relationship with me. Weve been together for 2 months. She has a lot to consider due to she's a single mom with two kids. We are both teachers at the same school. Right now we have time off. So she wanted space and time to sleep on the thought of her continuing this relationship with me. I understand that she looks at it as long term. So do I. But I've met her kids, family and friends. Things got off a little too fast and I think it put a lot of pressure on her. Right now she is getting ready to move, not far, but a town over. I sit here and think about her and wonder if she is doing the same about me.

Waiting is VERY hard! But allowing her the space to herself is the best thing you can do for her. No calling or anything, just wait until she's ready to contact you. Let her miss ya.
In the meantime, to keep yourself busy, stay active with hobbies, hang with friends, go to a show or the park, work on your place and get things done that haven't gotten done (check the to-do list). Make use of this time you have now, you know? Be productive.
And if there's too much time that passes without her contacting you (say a month?) -- then try giving her a call. But by then, if I were you and she's still undecided, I'd let her be but try to meet someone else. That's hard to do, but it's her issue to deal with, not yours. Be fair to yourself, you know?

I think you should go out and have fun. Don't be sitting down waiting for her. After she makes her decision and decides to be with you then you can be with her. Don't waste your time right now because you are not getting any younger.

waiting is so hard because you love her and if she loves you too she is thinking about you just as much.
