Are there any first cousin couples out there who can share they're experience of life since becoming a couple?

I have been in a relationship with my first cousin, (the love of my life), for 8 years now. We have one child together. Our child was born with no complications. Our child, thrives at school, at home and is just a joy to be around. My partner and I (my cousin), did not grow up together and only met each other in our early twenties when he migrated from our homeland to our city to start a new life. He lived with us for a while then moved on and it wasn't until 6 years later that the feelings just came out of nowhere. Although i kept saying to myself this is wrong, this is wrong, he is my dads brothers son, I couldn't get him out of my head. I moved to give us space to give me a chance to get this ridiculous thought out of my head.......it didn't work. I came back and didn't even have to utter a word as he had been trying to fight the same feelings. This is where the story begins.. Let me know if you are a first cousin couple as I am preparing a book to tell our story ........

Look magic 8 ball I appreciate your story but I think that your story is more of a Jerry springer sure fire hit.

Im not judging you I just feel that your situation is a little more complex. My book is more on stories of first cousins and the struggle to fight off the feelings, then surrendering to them, then going through the battle with our family, being outkast, etc.......Then the struggles with staying together due to so many family members trying to intervene and use malicious rumours and behaviours to seperate us, but to no avail.

So if that is you and you have a story you dont mind sharing please feel free. If your only here to pass judgement I suggest you do some research on google and research past presidents and royal families, they marry they're own cousins, eg: Frank Roosevelt married his famous 1st cousin Eleanor Roosevelt. Read the bible you'll see how mankind first began and when and how the breeding began. Im not religious but i hear it is a great source.

I married my first cousin who is also my grandpa's son, so my uncle. See, Grandma and Grandpa had three kids, My mom, and my two aunts. My grandpa hooked up with my aunt and they had a baby, my cousin/uncle. We never met until I was 14 and he was 31. We fell in love and are happier than ever. I have had three kids with him and also one with my grandpa, so my husband's brother/son.

Magic 8, I got a headache just reading you answer! Isn't that stuff illegal called incest? Sounds like the whole family has a couple of screws loose. I guess it keeps the guest list for family reunions short huh.
