EARTH SCiENCE HELP PLeASE!?

this paper is for homework and i want a good grade on it. and i just absolutely hav no idea what the answers are! NO i am not trying to cheat, i looked through all of my notes and EVERYTHING. i dont know what they are. i am a straight A student except a B in earth science. i just dont get it. please help me with some of these questions...? you can answer 1 question or all of them. any help is GREATLY APPRECIATED!

with the first one, you have to think about what permeability is: it means being able to absorb things, or let things through it's barrier. does sand change when water is added?
yes, sandcastles
does silt? yes, it dries out when water is gone.
sandstone-it is made of sand. so assume it would be
that leaves gravel!
i would help with the rest, but i am not confident of the answers
