Will i get him back?

my longterm fella was fed up with my jealousy and insecurity and control.i know i have issues but am dealing with them now.but his family are backing him up and now i haven't seen him in over 3 weeks. he still seems confused and angry one minute,and resolute the next. he is still calling and returning my calls and says he might meet me. I know i am still calling him alot!!! what is the beat way i can get him back.he is enjoying some freedom with friends now.....is contacting him wrong? does he need space?

Give him space, and see what happens....but, most likely, it's over, and time to move on...sorry!

If you had him once you can have him again. When you talk to him don't act the same insecure way show him that it will be different next time around. Yes he needs space , no contacting him is not wrong just don't over do it. Example: if he say he will call you back then let him call you back . Let him get off the phone without you asking why or when are you going to call back, just let him go. He will come around and remember let him call you back don't call until he calls you.

At least you've recognised that you have got some issues with insecurity and jealousy so that's a start. If things don't work out with this relationship, you'll be able to head into your next one with a better attitude.

Seriously, I think you do need to give him some space. I'm sure you've said your piece to him and he knows where you're coming from, so all you can do now is sit back and give him the time he needs to sort out his head and get his feelings together without being crowded. Good luck!
