Is he a jerk...or is it all in my head?

I've been going out with my bf for about 2 months. Things looks great we see each other everyother day, and it seems to me that he wants me to meet his family like i want him to meet mine. But today while i was on msn messenger my friend added him but he didnt know that it was my friend. She strated to talk to him and ask if he had a girl and he said no. She asked are you sure and he said yea im sure im single. And then she told him that he had broken my heart. and he said well i dont care?? On my space im like him top 15 and a bunch of girls that dont even sent him comments are way at the top. After my friend left i asked him, and he said that he knew it was my friend. he was trying to make a joke but it turned bad. He asked me to forgive him, and just to stop fighting i said ok and left...for me words hurt more than actions so would he by anyway be cheating on me??

He could be. You never know. Maybe he's just sort of flirting around. It doesn't necessarily mean he's getting physical with anybody else but it's pretty much the intent to. Telling a stranger you don't have a girlfriend isn't a joke, no matter how he wants to make it out to be. If he knew it was a friend then maybe (and that's a really stretched maybe) it wouldn't be a big deal. As far as he knows though and you know he genuinely told a strange girl that he wasn't with anyone. He sounds like he has the potential to be a cheater. Be aware.
