HELP! How can I get rid of a guy chasing me for a decade!!!?

I have a childhood frend who i bumped into a decade ago. i explained ten years ago that i am not interested in him. he has since hung around in my company, with my frends, in my family, colleagues, etc. he tells me that i am his best frend and that he will go to the ends of the earth for me. calls me on average 6hrs a day, visits me every night, and every wkend, does not allow me space. this has happened for ten staright years. Im sick of it!!! Even my family and frends are now on his side as they say he is a wondeful guy. Why doesnt he ask me out or express his true feelings to me so that i can speak to him explaining that i have zero attraction to him- thats just the way it is. Please help, I am being driven insane. Oh, just fyi he has not dated a single girl or expressed interest in any girl since he met me. whats up??

oh, by the way, he labels every guy that expresses interest in me a psycho, trying to convince me that they will ruin my life. It goes to the level that he even attempts calling me me when im sitting in male company or on a date that he know of. All this aside, i think he a truly sweet guy who i really value as a frend, and wud like to continue being his friend- just NOT his girlfrend.

Same thing with me going on for nine years :( Maybe you treat him very kindly that he does not understand that nothing will happen between you and him? The best way is (if possible) to live in different cities and not communicate much and you should find a boyfriend and the guy should know that. Good luck!

stop accepting phone calls, stop inviting him to places, stop showing him he's welcomed. Ignore him, be rude, if you really think he's a pain. Clearly telling him how you feel isn't getting the message across.

Have you tried talking to his family about it?

People need to understand that just because they view someone one way, doesn't mean everyone shares the same prospective as they do.

he is in true love with u. how sweet but if u r not compfortable in his company then dont borde this train. yes , ask him to come for a date with u and then u can when u both r alone, express ur 0 feeling to him. and say that if u (the guy ) really loves/ care for you then he should get out of ur way. good luck

oh **** that really sucks.
why dont u make ur self loud in clear that u dont wanna go out or have anything to do with him! be mean coz thats the only way to get him away. it will be real hard but thats the way it is. i hope it goes ok. that would be real hard if ur family and mates dont get where ur coming from!
