HELP! Is this a good plan?

My bf of many years broke up with me three weeks ago over the phone. (Said it would have been harder in person, didnt want to see me hurting..) He's an amazing guy though, really is. We've just had rough last two months.

I know we can work though. So what I'm doing is giving him space...planning on meeting with him in another 3 weeks.

Its been hard but I've been keeping away from his family and friends. No one has an idea how I'm doing.(He actually called me last week to see how I was doing). I'm making myself stronger..working on myself to try to change some of my ways.

And I'm hoping when I meet with him next month and just being fun, hopefully bring back the good times..

What do you think?

I think giving him his space is a great Idea, I would not stress the subject about getting back with each other. If it is meant to be it will be. Give him time, work on being INDEPENDENT and things will work themselves out....they always do

the mind and mood playing games... it is no fun and etc.. honesty is the best...

rule #1 :when a guys wants to bk-off with a gal... he will use all sort of excuses .. the classic one : you are just too good for me. yours BF excuses is under the top FIVE..

hello if he is a nice guy, why would he break up with you in the first place.. really.. logically irregardless you are hurting ...it is more the case of he doesn't 1 2 see himself hurt.

and to call you up again ? just to see if you are still hurting??? that is not concern that is to see if you are still desperate for him ( building his ego)..

any guy who really loves a woman will never play this type of emotional game.. you see each other through everything and not just call quits through two months of hardship.. ... most of the time, this attitude that your BF is playing should belong to a female behaviour..( thes test of if my BF loves me he should....)

when in love or a relationship there is no emotional test to be tested on.. cos being together is already an everyday test by itself...

let it remind you of the the good times, let it be just that in the PAST.. and that's that....he maybe an amazing guy but he stops there when he dumps you and furthermore over the phone .. this is just as bad as a guy who phone the wife from china and say that he wants a divorce...

you're right to move on with your life.. and have fun.. now that he is gone, make-up for lost time by finding the right guy who treasure an honest relationship with you... and not a guy who plays a emotional yo-yo with you... you're not a toy...

he may be a great amazing guy but he is not worthy for a great amazing gal like you...

Stay away. He probably broke up w/ you for a reason. You a probably better off with out him!!!
