Trying to break up with boyfriend- only problem is, he's not all there.?

I've been trying really hard to break up with my boyfriend for weeks. He has some form of disability though and I can't help but take pity on him; he's always saying if I don't go out with him, he won't have another girlfriend ever again and he'll be depressed.

He keeps telling me how much he loves me, but I just don't feel the same way. I never get enough space and I wasn't able to sit with my friends and talk with them like we did before for days. I really miss being able to have a conversation with them, not having to worry about his friend coming and telling me he wants me to meet him somewhere.

I've tried breaking up with him, not meeting him (standing him up) and have even outright told him I don't want to go out with him right now. But, he ends up leaving me in tears because I just don't want him to be depressed. He says he'll be sad for the rest of my life and that he really loves me. I just want him to get the heck out of my life and leave me alone.

Help!

its not your fault that he is disabled but he seems like he knows what he is saying and it sounds like he is only saying those things to make you feel guilty ! so dump him but do it with love and respect and if he doesn't leave you alone get a restraining order..............plz be careful this situation is very delicate ...........tell him you guys can still hang out and be friends and that ou love him like a brother but you need some space!!! hope this helps:)

he's using his disability to take advantage of you.its not love,its pity.tell him that you'll be there for him still even though you're not together,and you should spend some time with him.disabled people get lonely quickly because of low self esteem.move on if you need to.i had a suicidal gf once and she held me to ransom for a year.eventually i put my foot down,and she's still alive..he'll understand if you tell him why you want to break up.

well you should explain to him that part of life is breaking up and getting broken up with. tell him that if he got you, eventually he'll get someone else whether he thinks he will or not. Tell him that you're really sorry, you'll still be friend
