Marine in Iraq?

So I met this Marine online and he will be coming home in June, and he will be stationed 8 miles away from my house. He sends me pictures and we talk online a lot...
Would it be weird to not date anyone until we meet and I see if I like him??

I was with a guy for 2 yrs (broke up 4 weeks ago) and I think this will be a nice break away from normal dating.. gives me the space I need right now, and I can still get to know someone...

AND - he has a "gal" to come home to. Just be careful to take your time once he returns and don't just jump into plating house too fast to replace the relationship you just got out of...

Give it some time to grow on its own - if its meant to be it will, if its not meant to be, it won't.

Also - be aware that this guy MIGHT have some adjustment issues that HE doesn't realize when he gets back to the states. Being in a war zone is HELL on someone's mental state (even if they haven't / didn't see really aweful things). Give him time and space to figure this out if needed.

Absolutely not, It sounds good, However, make sure this guy is who he really says he is. I mean, there are plenty of creeps out there. Be safe hun, you don't know what can happen
