What is the right thing to be done?

There are two questions here. One is from the late Mr.King, and the other from you.

Mr. King's given premises are rather immovable, as were the goats in his tale. The goats cannot (1) turn back, (2) pass each other, and (3) butt each other off. Therefore, to lay down and let the other pass is against the rules. So is turning back. Therefore, my answer to Mr. King's Question is that : One has to jump to his death.

Now, for your question, to place myself in the position of the goats. Since I am endowed with all the knowlede of mankind, I shall communicate with the other guy in goat talk, and tell him that there is a female goat, who is comparable to Angelina Jolie to humans, waiting down there.

i am one of the goats but i still have my own thought processes? ok, i will move and return back gingerly (since i cannot make a turn back) - go back with my back end first, until i reach the end of the path where there is no more water below.
