Haven't talked to her for 10 days... I know it started wrong, but we do love each other?

A year ago she took a class from me. We became friends and she spent a lot of time at my studio. She asked me to meet her and her husband for a drink one day. I did and saw her husband talking to girls at the bar. I asked if she liked being a wife and mother girls 13&19 Answer, Mother yes WIFE NO!
Then our love affair started we saw each other all we could. About 3 months into it I got a midnight call pleading for me to pick her up they were both drinking. I did and was confronted by her drunk husband he said take her and pushed her to the ground. She went home after 2 days of being with me to talk with her girls and it was 30 days until I saw her again. It's been off and on for us then she moved out and filed for divorce. We have had some loving days and weekends she says HER BEST in life, but were not talking again. She's a mess fighting with him, drinking, Suicidal and her kids HATE me. She wants space but I see her going down hill fast. Love her want to help without loosing her.

You can't save someone that doesn't want to be saved. All you can do is throw her the life jacket and hope that she will reach for it. At this point in time, it's getting ugly and I don't blame her for wanting to space and to try and clear her head. There is more going on than we think at this moment with her ex, she can't move forward until she lets go of the past. Don't smother her and give her the space. She will realize what she wants. This may scare you but why would you want to be with someone if they decide that they don't want to be with you, it only becomes pain and heartache. Let her be able to heal and move on before starting a future with you, if any. If you keep interfering it will only push her away. Just leave her alone, love her from a distance and say a prayer. Be there when she needs you and give her the space she needs... that will be the best thing for her and she will thank you later.

If you love her you'll back off, she did love her husband at one time and this will always be hard on the kids until they come to terms with this in their own way. You won't help them, you will only make it worse on them and you need to think of them right now. Their lives are falling apart, nobody elses.

Give her space but make sure you make it clear that you will be there for her if and when she needs you. She needs to work things out in her own life before she can be happy and have a healthy relationship with someone.
