Moving on after a break up?

so me and her only dated for six months, but i do love her, we fought alot, and now we decided to be friends...

we broke up in beginning of february sitll "talked" a few weeks after. recently we made it an official break up. we're just friends...
i been giving her space, since shes hasnt been wanting to talk to me...

but while we were going out and having trouble i had a lady friend... and we been just talking, and recently i've caught myself enjoying talking to her, she makes me laugh,,, even after a few tears from the ex..

it might be too soon,
and she told me she might like me..
i might too, but i told her to not rush it.. since im not sure if its because i just got off a relationship and shes been there,,, or just because i really do like her.

help? is it too soon?
im not trying to rush into a new relationship, but it wouldnt hurt meeting new people would it? its been a month, but we been fighting... for awhile. i saw this coming, didnt think we'd make it thru january.

I say you take everyday as it comes. No need to set expectations for things. If you enjoy talking to your new friend, then let it be, enjoy the moment. Why worry about something if it's not even definite that it will happen. Who knows, maybe you and your new friend turn out to be the best of friends, or maybe each other's soul mate. But only time will tell. Don't hold yourself back from what you want to do, there's nothing worse than living with a "what if." You're not doing anything wrong like in the sense of cheating, so go for it girl!

just take it a day at a time, if its meant to be then it will be, only time can tell if it is to soon or not, just try not to rush things or try to have her fill the void of your ex
