What do u do when everything goes bad, hopeless, no where to turn?

This week i decided 2 leave my abusive husband but i'm still here in the house cause i have no where 2 go, no family no friends. I'm confused, no more tears i smile 4 no reason. I tried calling shelters but no luck, no space 4 me since i don't have kids. No room mate who is willing 2 take me in. I read the add & it slike i dont fit. I'm loosing hope. I met these 2 nice ladies at church yesterday 2 day i called 1 of them..i know that u not suppose 2 open up when u just met ppl. I called her she was at work& she promised 2 call me back, but she never called. But it's not her fault. Yesterday i slept at 3am cause hubby was yelling at me throwing water on my face, touching me even when i said no. He took my cellphone so i wouldn't call the police. He had his and said if i push him, he would call them and get me arrested, so i can be in jail with fat ladies that will rape me everyday. He said he talked 2 the police and i ever call them...they wont even say a thing..they will just arrest me.

4 what? no reason..cause he can just scrach himself. Now i know i will never think abt calling cops. He is American, know American laws, knows how 2 lie..that's what he says. Well i'm a coward lol ..i will never ever think of killing myself. Lucky i have internet but he unplugged the tv and turned off the eletric box so i'm the dark. I was told not 2 touch his food or anything. By the way i live in Orange ,CA.'

I agree with the answer that said call the police and tell them what is going on. Call them when he is out at work - or call them when you are away from the house. They will make certain that you find some help somewhere. Also if you talk to the minister at your church he/she should be of help to you also. I was married once to a guy who pulled the same stuff...I got in so much trouble because he would do things and call the police before I did. I left that house with $10 and no where to go. 5 years later I am fine, remarried and before I became involved with this lovely new man, I started a new career and got my feet on the ground with new friends and a new life. It is possible. I didn't know what to do either....you need to contact the police and tell them what is going on when you are not in the middle of a fight.

He has no evidence for you to get arrested. I'm sure if you have some bruises when he hit you, that could be strong evidence against him to be taken away.
You've called shelters. Use that as evidence too. Obviously you would have no reason to call them unless if your husband was being abusive.
Please don't give up! There is always hope even if there doesn't seem to be any.

If you call the police and repot that your husband is abusing you the police will take him in. They will not arrest you. There are a lot of programs available, research online for services around your area.

You have no family anywhere?No friends anywhere? I am sure if your serious you will go anywhere but to be there and put with xxxx. I have been there and I stayed in my car for 3weeks till I could figure it out.Keep calling churches,salvation army,shelters, don't give up.

ok, are you telling me he's making you have sex or just touching you, and i think you need to called the police that is a crime, and fast cuz is abusing you and abused is abuse so please get some help!!!!!!!! don't give up

Don't believe what he is telling you. You will not be arrested if you ask for help. Call the police and tell them you situation and that you want to go to a battered women's shelter. They will make arrangements for you.

Are you a citizen? Do you have valid ID? Are you legally married?

Keep all your documents with you. Mail that comes to the house in your name.

Try to volunteer at the church for a while before you ask for help.

Even if you are not staying at a shelter, sometimes there are support groups.
