I just can't stop thinking of her my new boss is starting to sense that I'm distracted from work.?

It's really really tough not thinking of her but I guess she isn't thinking of me. I'm 26 working professional and she is a 22 year old fulltime working adult/ premedstudent. We dated for 2.5 months and it's tough just letting her go. Her reasons are that I wasn't close enough and I can't buy that. It's tough because when we met I lost my job, was behind on my mortgage and a lot of other things. I would spend the night and we would talk about it even to the point of landing my dream job. It's hard because she was there throughout the whole process from going away to training to even the interview process with this job. After 2 weeks of buying her meals on a friend level I told her that I wasn no longer going to do that as friends and now disconnection. She says she just need space and if it works out in the future it works out, and she wasn't dating anyone else. It's tough letting go someone in short time who has been there through times were I felt suicidal and now she is gone.

It sounds like you were really fortunate to find this person at just the right time in your life. It's a shame you can't see that and feel grateful for her and your luck. Maybe that's the thing she sees as lacking in your relationship.

I know how you feel. I lost the perfect mate through my own stupidity. She's also my best friend and favorite companion. We can only be friends now and it is tough but I would rather have that than lose her completely.

Hang in there. Your coping and moving on, under your own steam, will justify the good fortune you've had.
